Effective Strategies of Planned Teaching program on Breast Engorgement among Primi Mothers

Background: Breast feeding is not easy but it worthy; since provides all nourishment to baby needs, the primi women need be responsible mother, so as best support health of her generation.Objective: Thus this article studies about effective strategies planned teaching program on engorgement among mothers.Research Design: A pre- quasi experiment with one group pre-test and post-test design was used evaluate structured programme knowledge regarding prevention breast mothers conducted at G.V. Annai hospital, Villapakkam, (2021-2022).Methodology: 160 who satisfied inclusion criteria were selected sample using probability sampling techniques; given level Engorgement assessed by questionnaire.Results: The major findings indicated that had inadequate knowledge. revealed mean 20 SD 5.84 28 5.06 calculated ‘t’ value 31.84 which significant p<0.05 level. there a high statistical further analysis demographic variables showed statistically no association difference p>0.05 level.Conclusion: results an enhancement after giving mothers. technique, more intervention should carried out for improving engorgement.
